Ara G. Carmody, DDS
Beardslee Dental Founder, General Dentist
Dr. Ara Carmody was raised in Mukilteo, Wa where she graduated from Kamiak High School. She continued her education at the University of Washington where she double majored in Biology Physiology and Near Eastern Studies. Upon graduating, she was accepted into the University of Washington School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Prior to opening Beardslee Dental in Bothell in 2019, Dr. Carmody was in private practice for over eight years. She truly valued that time as she spent those years cultivating her skills and establishing the principles for which she wants Beardslee Dental to represent.
Dr. Carmody enjoys developing meaningful relationships with patients and those relationships are one of her favorite parts of dentistry. She will always work hard to earn your trust and deliver honest, quality dental care. Dr. Carmody’s love of growth in her profession has resulted in hundreds of continuing education hours and collaborations with dental specialists. She understands the importance of staying current in the ever changing field of dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr Carmody’s world revolves around her three young kids. You’ll find her at local parks, volunteering at her kids’ schools, and acting as the family chauffeur. Dr. Carmody and her husband Casey, also a dentist, enjoy attending Husky games, slowly adding another pin to their travel map, and just soaking up life!
Sonja Bassoo, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Sonja Bassoo was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her bachelors from Texas A&M University and then her doctorate from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2012. She joined the Beardslee Dental team in 2021.
Dr. Bassoo is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care while emphasizing patient education and prevention. She brings her love of dentistry to every patient and understands that every patient has unique needs.
She and her family moved to Washington state as her husband is completing his medical residency at the University of Washington. In her free time, Dr. Bassoo loves spending time with her two little girls and exploring the many outdoor activities Washington has to offer.
Rachel Kramarevsky, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Rachel Kramarevsky is originally from Kentucky but finished high school locally at Sacred Heart Academy. She recently moved back to Washington state in 2023, upon receiving her doctorate from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She joined Beardslee Dental in 2025.
Prior to practicing as a dentist, Dr. Kramarevsky jump started her dental career spending years working as an oral surgery assistant and participating in microbiology lab work studying oral bacteria, S. mutans. Additionally, Dr Kramarevsky spent her college years at Xavier University researching and publishing work on sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Kramarevsky is dedicated to providing gentle, attentive care to all her patients, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience. On her days off, Dr Kramarevsky enjoys cycling, yoga, and trying new foods!
